Editorial Policy
Source standards
We prefer primary sources: founders' own posts and interviews, company pages and reputable media. Every case lists its sources, and every source link is checked before publishing.
Fact-checking
- Each number is stored with its source link, source date and a provenance label: founder-reported, verified, media-reported or unverified (a quoted figure we could not confirm against its original source).
- Figures without a reliable source are marked "Not disclosed", never estimated.
Use of AI
We use AI tools to help draft text and code. AI is a drafting aid, not a source: no number is published because an AI produced it. Content is reviewed for accuracy and usefulness before publishing, following Google's guidance on helpful, people-first content.
Helpful content checklist
- Who made it? Pages name the Editorial team and link to its page.
- How was it made? Pages show sources, worked examples and the date they were last updated.
- Why does it exist? To answer a real question or do a real job, not to fill search results. We do not publish cases we cannot source.
Updates
We re-check case figures when new sources appear. We review each page at least every 90 days. The "Last updated" date only changes when content changes in substance.
Corrections
To report an error, see the contact page. Confirmed errors are fixed promptly and the page's date is updated.
Advertising
The site currently shows no ads. If ads are added later, they will be clearly labelled and will never influence content.
